Tacoma; Dedicated to serving Asian parents of infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities by means of networking and training for parents to become better advocates for their children. Parent to Parent Power has been consistently providing emotional and social support to access culturally and linguistically appropriate, valuable and effective information. The main mission is to empower family members to be particularly involved with special education/IEP, Parental Rights under the IDEA and ADA. Provides translation/interpretation services, monthly support group meetings, recreational activities and referrals.
